Ohio certificate of good standing

For $25 plus the state's $5 fee, we order a certificate from the Secretary of State showing that your company is in good standing on its records. Banks, lenders, and other states often ask for one.

Who asks for it

  • Lenders and banks.
  • Other states, when registering there as a foreign company.
  • Buyers or investors doing due diligence.
  • Licensing agencies and government contract offices.

If you don't qualify

A canceled status has to be fixed first. If your agent lapsed, you may need reinstatement. Check the state's record before you need it. It's free to look up.

How recent should it be?

Recipients usually want a recent one, and some specify 30 to 90 days. Ask before you order.
